Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from the top of the the Rockefeller Center also known as "Top of the Rock"

Time

Late afternoon on a very foggy day.

Lighting

The light was perfect, the clouds added a sense of drama.

Equipment

An old Digilux 3 Leica

Inspiration

I saw the guard standing on the side with a panoramic view in the background and got inspired.

Editing

Not much, with Lightroom, I decided it was going to be more effective in black and white even though I only shoot color,

In my camera bag

Right now, I only carry a Sony Ilce A7s with aSony 24-70 zoom lens.

Feedback

If you are going to shoot popular places I suggest you go when the weather is really bad. If this photo had been taken on a beautiful sunny day it would have lost most of his mood.
