The Old Frontier Prison in Rawlins, Wyoming, was in use from 1901 through 1981. This is the actual gas chamber. It was "converted" to an electric chair for the opening scene of the movie Prison (1987) starring Viggo Mortensen, which was filmed at the location. Fortunately for me, the "gas" coming out of the gas chamber was added later in Photoshop. Otherwise, it would have been a bad day.
